A group of volunteers have been striving for several years at Yorkhill Green Spaces, and the result was the winner of 1st prize in the Nature Scot Pollinator Friendly Award as well as the Green Flag Award for Overnewton Park.
The green-fingered group of Yorkhill Green Spaces, winner of various awards related to green space, could be a good sample of the importance of the actions of local people and volunteers to improve neighbours. Fiona MacLeod, Chair of Yorkhill Green Spaces, tells the story of this park. Watch video:
